1 LIME, JUICED 1 LEMON, JUICED 1 ORANGE, JUICED OR 1/2 CUP OJ 2 T CHILI POWDER 2 T GROUND CUMIN 1-1/2 T DRIED OREGANO LEAVES 1-1/2 T FRESH CHOPPED CILANTRO GARLIC CLOVES, COARSLEY CHOPPED TO TASTE 1 Medium Onion, Sliced I never really measure anything but this is closest to any recipe as I could get from my dad. Its good for about 5lbs. of skirt steak, you can also use flank steak. We usually let it marinate overnight, or at least 6-8 hours before grilling. It'll cook fast, 5 minutes a side, high heat with the lid open. If you make it, let us know how it turned out@!

You can bet it will be on my grill Saturday as well. All that is needed is a small corn tortilla to make eating with your hands easier. nothing else is needed.

Welcome back Sharky!
I just made up a whole mess of fresh Salsa last weekend & have been thinking of mexican dishes to use it up, as it's best when eaten fresh and not canned or frozen...I'll post my salsa recipe in another post!

I have just been inspired to have a barbeque this weekend and use this recipe to make fajitas with. Maybe cook up some cornbread and mix up some margaritas, have the wife make some of her fresh salsa... Only one question - what does juiced mean? Does it basically mean the juice from one lime, lemon, orange, etc... Thanks.

I picked up corn tortillas and 5lbs of Flank steak today to marinate overnight. I can't wait for dinner tomorrow!

I hope to get to it this weekend myself but I am riding my dirt bike all day tommorow and then the wife and I are going out to a steak house that night. Maybe Sunday but I am not sure if I will be able to prepare it and get it marinating early enough. Hope you enjoy yours.

OK. This was a hit all the way around! My family loved it just as much as I did! My daughter kept asking for more, and my wife kept praising me telling me how much she liked it!
I even have plenty of leftovers for today;-) It's great ballgame food! In addition, this would be the PERFECT tailgating food! Easy and fast to cook, and with the tortillas you don't need utensils to eat it! Thank You Gabe and Tonda for this recipe!

Tonights Carne was good, but not great. I dind't marinate overnight. I definitely will need to do that next time. Everyone loved it, but I noticed the difference!
