Great set up. Im pretty new to this and was wondering what the "rack" the ribs appear to be sitting on is for? Really enjoyng this site. Great Job Sharky!!

usually the rack is so you can get more ribs on the gril and have them leaning on their side. It looks like he has his on top of the racks.. My assumption is to keep the flames from getting at them?

Sharky is right. The ribs spent most of their time vertical in the racks. I put them on top only after they were just done to mop the BBQ sauce on them.
