Hello!
I'm new here and am hoping I'm doing this right. I want to purchase a Chargriller Smokin Pro Charcoal smoker grill for my husband, but don't know of any retail store in this area that carries them. I live in Nebraska, and am only about 20 minutes west of Omaha, so with all of the Home Depots and Menard's etc., perhaps I can find one. Would someone be so kind as to direct me to a place to purchase one? I don't want to order on-line, as we've had a terrible experience with purchasing online...so we won't ever go there again. Also, if anyone knows of a better brand with a comperable price, please let me know. My husband is a wonderful cook and his passion is the BBQ....thanks...Luckyjewels ;)

Lucky,
I'm not sure if any of the big chain stores will carry them. I've never heard of the brand, but then again, I'm a gasser guy. I did a search for you and it looks like a mail order only deal. Perhaps you could get a BBQ specialty store to special order it for you?

Lowes carries them, and whats nice about them is if they dont have it in the store you can order it online and have it delivered to the store for pick-up. I cant remember if its the Char-grill or Brinkman that the fire-box is an added option, Im sure your husband would want this, so make sure you get that also. Hope this helps you out.
I wish my wife would buy me a new grill, could be the reason is because she knows I want a BGE.

Thank you Snaps and JackStack. I'll check into it. There's a Lowe's located here so it shouldn't be a problem. I appreciate the help. ;) This site rocks.

Hi Jewels, I currently own two Char Griller smokers. I did a LOT of research before I bought my first one. I bought a second one for my lake house because the first one was so good. Excellent products, fabulous factory support and easy availability of replacement parts - even down to the handle!! By the way - my cast iron grates have NEVER rusted after the first seasoning. Unbelievable. Top notch - finest kind product. There truly is no better charcoal grill of the smoker genre available. Buy with confidence and your husband will reward you with years of excellent 'Q. By the way, in my area (South East) Kroger carries Char Griller products this time of year as a seasonal item, and a better price than I've ever seen them anywhere. I saw one in the store a couple of weeks ago - $99 for the Super Pro model.

I have been owned by a chargriller now for 5 years, and can say I have loved cooking on it. The side mount firebox is a must and their customer service is excellent.
