This thing is awesome!!!

I just got it yesterday. We were making pizza and I wanted to try the griddle out. So I oiled it up, put it in my Summit, heated the grill up to 600* and threw some chicken chucks on it. What a nice sear!!! I started to do a little stir frying and within a minute they were done. We put it on the pizza and my wife couldn't believe what a difference in taste it was from a regular pan.

I can't wait 'til this weekend to cook my breakfast on it! Can you say bacon? :mouthwate

I got this griddle for $35 from this place (http://www.abtelectronics.com/scripts/site/site_search.php3?search_token=weber+griddle&setflag=1113564656). Every other place would cost at least $60 with shipping. I got mine within 3 days of ordering via UPS, free ship!

ETA: The chicken chunks were greased with olive oil and seasoned with equal parts of oregano, basil, and garlic powder.

That's cool. Nothin' quite like cast iron for searing.

I've got a cast-iron griddle on order for my Baby-Q. Supposed to be porcelain-coated. For my Weber Kettle I have an out-of-production grate that has a cast iron insert. Haven't used that one yet, just got lucky searching for it. Picked it up at a Barbeque Galore store in CA.

Back to the Baby-Q. This little grill is really handy, and it really ain't all that little. I picked up an adapter hose and a 5 lb propane tank. Makes it super portable.
