One thing I have learned in my short experience with wine is that wine taste is personal. Even you tasted something totally different than me in the EXACT same wine. The "experts" can lean you in the right direction, but cannot make a hit every time -- much like a pro football coach knows more about football, however their calls don't necessarily make sense! They know enough to weigh the odds better than the average individual

I am not a huge wine drinker but the only ones I seem to like are the dry reds. Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, Shiraz. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to hear about some good choices!
