Where do you buy your meat online?

I like Omaha Steaks...

I haven't had any bad experiences so far. I do like to buy my meat fresh though, generally the day I cook it.

We just cooked the last of our beef supply. A buddy and I bought a calf and fed that sucker until he was about to pop. That sucker sure was good on the grill and kept us in the meat for about a year. Most of what I grill is what I have killed or caught. Deer, dove and fish.

I'd love to do that, but I don't hunt. I'll gladly take some of your next kill though!

What do you guys think about the whole BSE (http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/diseases/cjd/cjd.htm) crisis?

I have to be honest, I don't think much about it. Mad Cow Disease is certainly a risk... but It hasn't stopped me one bit from buying meat.

The only online food I get are usually gifts sent to me from my brother. He has sent me brisket & ribs from Salt Lick Restaurant in Texas, sausages from Jodi Maronis in California, some spanish sausages from california, and of course Omaha Steaks.
I prefer two meat packing places, both of which are 40 minute drives but worth it.
Yesterday while at a super walmart I was trying to get a pork roast without 10% added fluid and the butcher told me that they don't even cut their own meat. It all comes prepackaged and priced. I then looked at the steaks and noticed that they add 9% fluid to them. No more meat from wally world for me.

Yeah, Wal-mart is horrible like that!
It's best to find a local Fresh market/whole foods market or butcher.
