Smitty's Meat Market - Lockhart, Tx.
I went to Smitty's Meat Market in Lockhart, Texas with a "tour" group basically. That, to me, is the best way to see the local places...with the local people. Bill Cannon (TexasBBQRub.com) took us in and ordered beef brisket, clod and sausage. As you can see, Smitty's "ain't got no" forks, or plates. This is a true BBQ experience. The meat is cooked on large brick pits using salt and pepper only and the flavor is amazing. Outstanding BBQ!!
