Eddie's BBQ - Alexandria, La.
I ordered a plain chopped beef sandwich at the drive thru of Eddie's BBQ right off I-49 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Maybe ol' Eddie has something that is his pride and joy, but I sure hope it's not the chopped beef. It had a good texture, but it was overall bland tasting in my opinion. Maybe I should have gotten the sauce, but I believe if you order a plain sandwich and it tastes great, then just about anything on the menu should be great. Until next time, keep the Q to a maximum.
I have since revisited Eddie's and got the same chopped beef sandwich with sauce. It did make it better, but this is the reason I give Eddie's a 5 or so of ten. It should be good without the sauce.
