Hey Deuce,

I saw you posted on the TexasBBQForum. You're gonna love that rub. Did you get the original or the Brisket Blend? The Brisket Blend is less sweet and a bit spicier than the original. Both are great.

Let us know what you think of it.

I've got an order on the way from them too. I'll probably get it today or tomorrow. Bill uses DHL to ship most of his stuff and they do a good job for him.

That reminds me that I need to order 4 more lbs of the stuff. I only got the original blend last time and gave 2 lbs away to my dad as a Christmas gift. This time I will get 1 original and 1 package of the brisket blend. Might also get some new gloves since I partially melted mine on the firebox :p . I also got a shaker of the Texas magic which is really good on veggies and seafood. I have not tried it on a steak yet.

Definately a good quality product from Bill and great customer service as well.

I purchased the original and a pair of gloves. The smoking will begin at 12:01 am january 1st with dinner sometime around 6:00 pm. I will definately let you know what I think of it.

You sure it's the same TexasBBQRub as the texasbbqrub.com ?

I'm wondering how much cheaper the ingredients would be compared to actully buying it from them directly. It seems you would have to make a HUGE batch to make it worthwhile.

Either way, It's pretty well known. He must be doing something right!
