I found a recipe for this on allrecipes.com (http://allrecipes.com) which called for canned chicken so I tweaked it and this is what I came up with:
1.5 - 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cut up very small- great w/leftovers)
1 pkg cream cheese (softened)
1/2 - 3/4 (or more) hot sauce (I like red hot)
3/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
3/4 cup shredded cheddar
In a skillet heat the chicken w/ the hot sauce. Stir in the cream cheese and dressing and cook until well blended. Mix in the shredded cheddar and put into a glass oven dish. Cook in the oven until bubbly and serve w/ crackers, fritos, tostidos, or whatever you like.
I don't give a temperature for the oven as we just put it in with whatever we had already cooking and removed it when bubbly.
This dip has ben a hit twice this past weekend.
