Hey everyone, Just curious what your favorite seasoning for steak, chicken, hamburgers, and pork is. Do you have just 1 seasoning thats good enough to put on it alone?

One seasoning? Or one seasoning mix?
If you're talking about just one seasoning, I guess it would have to be salt. Or pepper? hmmmm...
If you're talking about a seasoning mix, I don't have a particular favorite. If you mean a rub, I'm partial to Texas BBQ Rub #2. Works on pork, poultry, beef.

I really like Paul Prudhomme's Blackened Redfish Magic - I find it addicting and use it on most of the limited things I cook.

I personally like coarse ground pepper, sea salt and olive oil.
To jazz it up even more I melt some herbed butter or blue cheeze over it.
I also use the Durkee montreal steak seasoning from time to time!

Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and olive oil. I use those as a base and add from there if I feel like it.

I wouldn't recommend Texas BBQ Rub for steak, unless you like a sweet taste to your steak. Texas BBQ Rub has sugar in it, #1 much more so than #2. However, if you're talking about smokin' a brisket, the #2 rub was made specifically for that.

I have started rubbing the meat/chicken/pork with olive oil then I sprinkle on the salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder. This is my base and I add to it depending on what it is that I am cooking. For instance with ribs I would add brown sugar, paprika, white pepper, cayenne pepper, etc.
For steaks I don't add anything.
For fajitas I add cumin, chili powder, etc.
Don't be afraid to try different things.
Happy grilling!

For a base seasoning for any kind of meat or vegetable, McCormick Season All works wonders!
For making BBQ Rubs, I tend to only like the ones I make myself. A little of this alot of that, you get to make it the way you like it! I will use store bought rubs (TXBBQ, Stubbs, etc) or seasonings if I get too lazy to make my own, but I always end up tweaking them to my liking.
I found a tremendous (IMO) seasoning for chuck roasts on the smoker. 2 parts Montreal Steak Seasoning, 1 part turbinado sugar. Fantastic! I haven't tried it on steaks yet, but I will once I fire up the gasser!

I use my wife's creole seasoning on just about everything. Her recipe is pretty close to close to Emeril's with about half the salt. Other than that, I tend to just mix up my own by throwing some stuff together.
I got a bunch of seasoning mixes from Jon Ashton over the summer and the only one I really liked using right out of the bottle was the Key Lime Jerk, everything else I mixed two or three of them together or added some creole seasoning. ;) Fish with some Mango Majic and a little creole seasoning is fantastic!

I forgot about Tony Cachere's Creole Seasoning! Another wonderful all purpose seasoning!

Yep Tony's is good too...We used to use Tony's until my wife started watching what she eats a lot more. Plus it is cheaper just to make it.
We bought a first edition of his cookbook to get the recipe. He took it out of the cookbook after the first edition. The recipe calls for Accent (msg), but I am not sure if they still use it in the commercial version.
