I love going gourmet on the grill! I watch Bobby Flay's Boy Meets Grill on Tivo to get some good ideas.
What are your favorite "gourmet meals" to cook on your grill?
That Boy Meets Grill show is great!
I watched one the other day on grilling pizza's!
I cant wait to give a few of his recipes a try!

I saw that one as well.
My favorite so far is where he grilled chicken, italian bread and asparigus.
I switched it up a bit..
I grilled rib eye staeaks to medium with olive oil, salt & pepper seasoned before hand. Once there I spread some fresh garganzola cheese over the top.
I also grilled the italian bread with olive oil, roasted garlic & salt. once ready I spread some Fresh Garganzola over that as well...
and grilled asparigus with an olive oil, salt, pepper & roasted garlic marinade.
It turned out great!
That sounds good. That show is great, first one I saw was the one he made fish tacos. My friend and I went straight to the store and got what we needed for it.
Skarky, I'm no pro like you yet but I'll be watchin ya once football season starts. :-)

NO Pro here Luke, I just enjoy it! Which is why I started these forums, I love to grill. I've been getting into these cooking shows lately, and realized there is more to grilling than slapping a steak, chicken or ribs on the grill. I want to learn from others!
Wait until football season! I'll hold some serious competitions.
I hear ya, I've been watching them a lot too. Definitely a lot better than some of the other crap on tv now.

Which is your favorite show? Have you tried any of the recipes?
I mostly watch Boy Meets Grill and Everyday Italian (I think shes hot and like watching her cook :-)
I've tried the fish tacos and the salsa that Bobby did. And I printed some italian recipes from her show but haven't tried any yet.
I also like watching the Iron Chef but I don't think I'll be trying any of that stuff anytime soon.

I wish there were more shows about grilling on the food network. Boy Meets grill is very good, however they should do something for us guys who just enjoy grilling.

Years ago there was a show that was strictly grilling. It was great and I watched it every chance I got. Sadly it is no longer on. :(
Food TV is my favorite channel. If I have the tube on it is either sports or Food TV. I like watching the different food festivals across the country. My favorite is the Chuck Wagon competition, that looks so awesome.

Every once in a while I will find something on PBS that is a grilling feature... but nothing regular. I love FoodTV, It's given me a lot of good ideas! Superbowl week had a lot of great shows.
I can't wait more until summer to get the other outdoor cooking features!
