Other than meat/poultry/fish, what do you cook on the grill?

I like the usual: Potatoes, corn on the cob, asparigus....

I'm looking to branch out a little more.
I've started toasting garlic bread, tomatos, green/red peppers, etc.

Have anymore ideas?

The first day I got my grill I did a full breakfast:

eggs
omelette
bacon
hash browns
etc.

That's what I figured....when I have to cook inside cast iron is all I use. I love it.

I have cooked pancakes and bacon. My grill came griddle insert so I had to try it once. I have done corn and other veggies several times, and pizza once or twice.

Pizza is something I have been wanting to try for a long time.
I do breakfast sandwiches - bacon, eggs & cheese on english muffins.
Pancakes. Turkey. Yellow squash.

I think Pizza will be my next shot too.
I have some fresh tomato basil marina I made yesterday, it would go well with Pizza!

Thanks for the Idea/Reminder!

I'm going to try some stuffed bell peppers I think this weekend. As soon as I figure out what I'm gonna put in them. But mostly meat; my grill isn't real big :( so there's only enough real estate for whatever unlucky animal is in the freezer.

Mine either...it was a freebie so I won't complain. I think ours is 28x14

Having a small grill is better than having NO gril!
Look on the bright side... You can always save up to get a bigger one if you like!

The only other thing I've put on the grill other than the meats is garlic bread!

Mmmm garlic!

I'll probably try doing a pizza on there soon though.. have seen some great recipes that I want to try!

:D

Ryan, You should really get out and explore more on your grill!

You'll never know if you like something until you try it.

You can create PART of a dish on the grill, and the rest inn the house if you like.

For instance, we make the Bangcok BBQ Chicken rollups that are excellent!
I got the recipe from the California Pizza Kithen cookbook. I have altered the recipe a bit... but I do about half the cooking on the grill, and then I assemble the pieces and place in the oven for 5 minutes. it tastes Great!

Pizza is one of my favorites! I love inviting folks over for pizza, and then watch their faces as I fire up the grill.

Pizza is great with kids too, since they get to "build their own".

Sometimes, if I don't feel like making the dough, I just go to the local pizza shop and buy some raw dough, and make my own from there.

Pizza is one of the things on my list to cook on the grill. So far, threw some chicken bits on my new grill griddle and finished the pizza in an oven. Pizza tasted way better than if everything was made on the stove/oven.

That will have to wait; next on the list is beer can chicken!
