You're really going to like this: Texas Pepper Jelly (http://www.texaspepperjelly.com).
This stuff is great! You can eat it as snack with cream cheese and crackers or even use it as an ice cream topping.
However the best use I've found for it is as a finishing glaze for all sorts of stuff on the grill or WSM. Brush some on some chicken or shrimp. Even better, use it to top off your ribs. Brush it on instead of your usual finishing glaze. Wow, what a treat.
Disclaimer: I am in no way connected with Texas Pepper Jelly except as a satisfied customer. I have submitted a testimonial to their web site, but that's it.
You can bump into the guy who makes Texas Pepper Jelly over on the www.texasbbqrub.com forum under the nickname of Texana.
I've tried several different kinds of the jelly and I don't have a favorite yet, they're all great!

Sounds good. I've eaten some pepper Jelly from Harry and Davids before and loved it. I think I mixed it with cream chease and ate it on crackers. Putting it on the grill sounds even better... perhaps on a sirloin steak?
MMMM
I was graciously presented with a free jar of the Peach Habanero and MAN!!!!
This is some good stuff. I used it on pulled pork instead of BBQ sauce and it was a hit. I ordered four more jars!!!

I'd like to give that peach one a try.
How did you go about the free jar?

Yes, do tell!!!
Now, now, now...ya'll know I can't be tellin' how I get free stuff. What I can do, though, is grace our kind host with a jar....paid for by me. Check your PM, sharky.
I will say that "you can't get hooked on the stuff if you don't try it."

lol...
The board has been a little slow lately. I think the poor weather has contributed to that.
Sharky, the jelly is ordered. Let us know what you think of the Peach Habanero when you get it. Deuce, if you rub the guy at TexasPepperJelly.com the right way, he'll prolly work with you somehow. Email him. His name is Craig Sharry. Tell him FATZ sent ya.

Thanks for the tip but I don't swing from that side of the plate :)
I'll just have to make my own. I'll start with red pepper jelly and work from there.

Sharky you'll love it if you like a little heat. We have a jar of Peach Habanero and love it. We bought 4 flavors and the Peach Habanero is a little sweeter and a little hotter than the other Jalapeno flavors we got. Hmmm! Good stuff. We're already planning on getting some to give to friends.

Welcome to the board! I appreciate you stopping by, and hope you will continue to contribute!
I really look forward to this. I had something similar before and mixed it with cream cheese and it made a nice dip. I've also got some ideas to use it as a glaze for steaks.
I'll let you guys know when it comes!

OK.. I received the jelly in the mail yesterday!
First, Thank you FATZ/Jason Lee for ordering this for me!
2nd, This is Great! It's awesome!
Honestly, I had high expectations and this met them. I opened it and immediately went for the triscuits and cream cheese. I put a little jelly on top and fell in love.
I'm going to bring it out tailgating with me today for the Bucs game, I'll be sure to share and spread the word to others.
I think a few of these would make good Christmas gifts. I'll be placing my orders soon!
