FatzO's Home-Grown "Sweet, Sha-Bang" BBQ Sauce of Louisiana Version 1.0

4 c. tomato ketchup
2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 TBS onion powder
1 TBS minced garlic
3 TBS white sugar
3 TBS honey
2 TBS apple juice
1 TBS white vinegar
1 tsp. liquid smoke
Juices from 3-4 lemons
Salt and black pepper to taste

In a saucepan, mix all ingredients. Heat over medium heat, bringing the mixture up to a simmer and let simmer for approx. 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

For added kick: add 1 TBS red or chopped cayenne pepper before heating.

The name says it all. It is sweetness, turn tart, turn- "Mmm..that's good." It's a whole mouth experience and great on everything!!

I got bored and decided to customize my BBQ sauce bottle...lol. Although not for sale, it almost looks like it, huh?

Oh and I think I've decided to go with the "Home-Grown" instead of "World Famous". The little motto at the tops reads, "Warnin': This stuff's so good, it'll put hair on yer chest." I'm gonna make it spicy seein' that I be's from Loosianie an' all.

Whatdya think?
