Forum Housekeeping

Hey Guys.. I'm sure you noticed the PM spammers over the last few days. It seems there is a loophole in the forum software allowing unapproved users to send PM's to users. I have submitted a ticket with the developer to find a fix for this.

I also deleted a bunch of inactive accounts - 621 of them to be exact. Many of them were spammer accounts that I managed to block, however I might have pinched a few of the good guys. If you try to login and are unable to, please hit me up and I will do what I can to fix it;-)

Also, I have started to change some things around here to try and get the forum more active again. First thing is the new main page layout. I'm working it this way to try and get us listed higher in the Search engines so we get more visitors. The more visitors we have, the more active the forum is. The more active it is, the more valuable it is to us all! I encourage you to post if you are just lurking. We have quite a few daily lurkers.

Yeah, I have decided to cut out all PMs for the time being until this is resolved. I haven't been able to find a reliable solution yet. not for lack of trying though!

well i found this place again. last time i was here it said 2007 well when your haveing fun.. it looks like it is a little slow around here i hope that changes..still cooking with my eggs.. got read of my gasser just never used it.just pickup 2 weber gold kettles..and a WSM that i can use when i'm not at home cooking.. to hard to move the eggs around.. good for home cooking..will it good to be back..laters :D
