Hopefully I will have some pics to post shortly.

I had a GREAT TIME yesterday.

As you know, it was Fathers Day. However, we had a party for my daughters 4th birthday and combined the 2.

Food on the menu:

1) Baby Back Ribs - on the grill. 1 hour low direct heat (gas grill) and 2 hours indirect heat (charcoal). It didn't have the smokey flavor, however I think these are the best ribs I have ever made.
2) Hamburgers - Big half ound burgers, they were great!
3) Hot dogs - for the kids
4) Veggie Kabobs - tomato, mushroom, onion, green pepper & Pineapple
5) Teriyaki chicken kabobs - marinated overnight and they tasted great
6) potato wedges with my potato sauce - big hit!
7) quiche - my wife makes a great quiche
8) bbq beans - my wife jazzed up a can of beans to make them her own.
9) corn salad - white corn, green onions, tomatoe, mayo * salt & pepper
10) smashed potato salad - jazzed up smashed potatos served cold
11) chips and homemade salsa
12) cup cakes - kids love em
13) sponge Bob Cake!

We had a Huge slip and slide (rental - blown up like the jolly jumpers), a daquiri machine and tons of good people. IMO it was a smashing success. My daughter is still sleeping (10:30AM) from being so tired from all the activities.

I was caught doing a few cannonballs into the pool, as well as testing out the slip and slide. I can't wait to get those photos!

The look on my daughters face the whole day was the best fathers day present I ever could have had!

She was in the pool until 8:30PM!
