Smoker refurb

I got a free smoker from one of my neighbors. My buddy & I decided to fix it up a little. Here are the pics.

Here some pics from the refurbed smoker. Did a rack of ribs & a tri-tip using a modified version of Sharky's korean beef recipe.

Man, how did that tri-tip turn out. I haven't done the korean recipe on such a bold flavored beef before, but I bet it's awesome!

How did you alter the recipe?

Great job on the refurbish. I was thinking about getting one of those charbroil offsets myself.....

The tri-tip turns out awesome. I've done it several times this way. I just add a little spicy szechuan sauce to your recipe.

It's great to be an American with the "can do it" attitude! I bet the meat tastes just a bit sweeter on that rig too, NICE JOB !
