Pics of the ribeye the other night... Once again, Publix is suppling some great cuts. This one was about 1.75lbs stood at room temp for about .5hour with olive oil and sea salt.
Seared at 800, rested for 15 minutes then cooked for 6minutes each side. The wife had to have some so I cut it in half and it was still plenty (middle pic). Also did a twice baked.

hers a little secret for hamburger at publix. buy the stuff without the 80/20,90/10 labels on them buy the unmarked pkgs there made in the store cost on average .50cents to 1.00 less and its usaully better meat. A butcher at my local store said watch what were cutting that day . Thats where they get the daily supply of scraps for the hamburger. Can anyone say filet of burger :mouthwate ,. He told me by law they cannot have more than 30% fat in there mix. I've never had any that was close to that.
