I've been looking around for a new grill for a while now, and have been looking at the Napoleon units. From reading a lot of the posts here, I've seen that people think very highly of the Webers - they are on my list too. Just curious if anyone could share some insight on the Napoleons? Thanks!

All I can tell you is Rob Rainford (License to Grill) cooks on them and they seem pretty decent. I considered one before I bought my Vermont Castings, but I couldn't find a dealer around here. IF you get one, let us know what ya think.

I watch Rob Rainford all the time - that's where I first saw the Napoleon grill. You can't mistake the wavey grill rods! Rob certainly seems to like the Napoleons, and they certainly seem quite versatile. He comments often on the show about how well they do at low heat as well as cranked right up for searing.
If anyone does have first hand experience, I'd love to hear! Thanks.

Where are you located? Napoleon is Canadian, and their distribution in the US is somewhat limited.
That said, they have a very good reputation. The grills are well made and they have good customer support. They are probably are a nicer grill than a Weber Genesis, but cheaper than a Summit. But be careful; if you're paying in US $, they might be pretty expensive with the dollar dropping in value.
If you are in the US and buy one, make sure you have a dealership nearby. I wouldn't really recommend buying a grill if you aren't within around 50 miles or so of someone who can service it if needed.

I'm in Ontario, Canada, and actually have a Napoleon dealer about 2 miles from my house. I like that they are a Canadian company - I'd feel good about supporting them, compared to an off-shore manufacturer.
Also, with our dollar on the rise vs. the US $, the prices have actually gone down here. Make's it all the more tempting! :D

Being in Canada is a plus for the Napoleon. You'll be happy with one.
