Just curious. I have no clue what goes on behind the scenes in computer land. Just know that it is a great place to share ideas about grilling.

It would not be unreasonable to set up a site where users could contribute.
I bought my wife a new car last month and now I spend $10 a year to ask questions that were not asked during the buying process.

Also, would like to set up a recipe file, if we can.

Keep up the good work,
Rick

Hi Rick -

This website is one of my hobbies. I work on the Net all day and use this as a little relaxation. Thats why it has slacked off a bit recently.

I am always open to suggestions!

I have been using the recipe forum for recipes, but are you suggesting a seperate more organized section for recipes? If I can get enough response I am willing to do it. I also plan on setting up a blog about my grilling efforts soon as well. I try to grill ,at minimum, once a week. I still don't have a gasser at my new house so I don't grill everyday.

Yeh, I would like to see a seperate section for recipes and then sub-divided into main dishes, side dishes, etc. I don't know how much work that would be but it would make the site a little easier to use. Just my opinion.

That would be cool. I like the side dishes idea too, they complement BBq so well.

It is just my personal feeling on how to better use the website. When I talk about tri-tip, I post in the general grilling section. If I want to suggest something to go with tri-tip, does that go in the recipe section?

On the other hand, maybe I should ignore the general grilling discussion and only look at the recipes currently available. In that case, I would miss the chance on how to explain a technique.

Not sure I have the answers. Just coming up with some thoughts.

I am going to hang out in the recipe section for a while. I have learned the basics and continue to read and learn about the more advanced recipes.

Keep up the good work. We all appreciate your efforts. I, for one, would like to contribute financially on an annual basis to cover your expenses. It would not be a lot of money but I don't think $10 a year is too much to ask from everyone to cover your expenses.

I appreciate it rick! I will look around for software I can integrate into this board. If I can't find it I will break down the recipe section into types of meat, then one for sides.
