Right after I found this website, there was an ad at the top of the page (in the Google ads) for www.texasbbqrub.com.
I went there and tried their rub. It was great! In their forum they were talking about another version of thier rub. They called it Rub #2. I called to order the #2 Rub and was told they weren't selling it yet, but they sent me a sample.
I smoked a couple of pork butts Sunday night with the new rub and I gotta tell you it was fantastic! I put some on a beer butt chicken one night last week and that was great too.
So if you're looking to try a new rub, I can highly recommend both the #1 and #2 rubs from www.texasbbqrub.com.
They also have some great gloves for handling meat on the grill. They are heat resistant neopreme and cost only $10/pair including shipping. Makes moving meat around, especially on a smoker, very easy and painless.
