Ryan is coming over tonight baring gifts! He's got a few ribeye's that are just begging to be eaten!

I was thinking of the usual olive oil, salt & pepper. Does anyone have suggestions?

Gotta love the Rib Eyes... I already threw a few spices on them. I can't wait to get them on the fire!

What should we have for sides?

Did you? Well that settles it! Nothing is needed!

I've got some hot dogs and macaroni for the kids.

I think we should hit some baked potatoes for sure.

does anyone else have some cool alternative recommendations for us?

Do the ABT's... you won't regret it.

Yep (http://www.sharky.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76)

And you can take as much heat out of them as you want... just remove all the seeds and the white membrane.

Maybe I can swing by the store on the way home and pick up the ingrediants

It's official.

Ribeyes over a charcoal grill are the best possible! Ryan is a great cook.

I lit the fire and headed inside to prep the rest of the meal. By the time I got back, Ryan had the steaks on the grill.

It was superb!!

Tri-tip isn't a "quick grilling" food. It's gotta be slow cooked to get the flavor out. It has a lot of tough fat in it that needs to be broken down.

I agree with you. When done right - Tri-tip is awesome!

I have some SantaMaria's Tri-tip seasoning I got while in Thousand Oaks, CA at the Meat Barn. Now that is perfect seasoning!
