Spammers have taken over

The Spammers have taken over...because it looks like no one else is posting. besides me in the last couple weeks.
I have also been unable to view posts. I get an error message every time

are you able to view posts now?
I haven't been able to duplicate the problem you are having.

I am going to upgrade the forum software to hopefully lock out some of these spammers..

I wasn't able to get to the posts either, so I wasn't able to get rid of the spam, but it seems to be working now. Let's hope the upgrade slows them down.

Yee, Haw, you guys are back!!! It must have been a couple of weeks that I couldn't get into the forum, kept getting these "error" messages also. WTF are these spammer/porno dealers doing to us here? I wish that they all would just kinda shrivel up & DIE!!! Not that there's anything wrong with that---dieing, I mean.
