Paul Kirk's Master BBQ Spice

2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon brown sugar -- (dried)
2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground celery seed
1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground marjoram
1/4 teaspoon cayenne

can you buy dried brown sugar?

I imagine it's kind of tough to dry it here in FL!

Yep, it's a PITA to dry it, but if you spread it in a thin layer on a baking sheet and put it in the oven at a low temp, you can do it.

OR...

Dixie Crystals makes a granulated brown sugar that comes in a round container. I know Publix carries it for sure. It's not like real brown sugar, but it has the same taste.

Whey Low makes a granulated brown sugar substitute. (www.wheylow.com)
