I have a condo and I'm looking for a small gas grill (probably 3-burner) for our patio. I've never owned a decent grill - the last one I had was no-name crap and the heat was horribly uneven. So I'm hoping to step up to a quality grill that won't break the bank. I've been looking at the Weber Spirit E-310 and also the Ducane Affinity 3200 or 3400. Any opinions on which is better or other suggestions? The Spirit has great reviews but I don't care much for the control placement. The Ducane models seem to have a lot more features for the same cost (the 3400 even includes a rotisserie), but I'm having trouble finding the Affinitys locally so I haven't seen one in person yet. I'm open to suggestions on other models if I can find them, but Weber definitely seems to rule the roost in my local stores.

Today I saw a Weber Q 300 in person for the first time. I've got to say it looked pretty nice - in fact the grate seemed much heavier and more substantial than the one on the Spirit, which surprised me. It's a two burner configured with one burner as an outer ring and the second a strip across the center. How much of a downgrade is this from a 3-burner grill?

Thanks!

I would say buy what ever level Weber you can . There customer service is second to none. I've had to use it before and it was top notch. I can warnyou against charbroil there customer service in my case stunk. I returned the grill to my local lowes and got the weber. I've never looked back or had any problems with my gas grill in 3yrs . I can tvoice on the other models as i have no experience with them.

Good luck with your decision

For a condo I would go with the weber Q as it can be broken down easy for storage...

I am not sure if this grill is to big or not but i just got (after much research...including weber....) a broil king signet 90 and i love it... 3 burner (new dual tube is so nice) side burner and rottisure burner...in my opinion the broil king line is well worth a look.
